Our carefully curated Loft is located within the historic Dombauverwaltung—a rare neo-Gothic landmark built in the same year as The Qvest Hotel. Thoughtfully restored, it blends architectural heritage with contemporary design. Set in a quiet side street in Cologne’s “Golden Triangle”—between Rudolfplatz, Friesenplatz, and the Cathedral—it offers rare privacy while placing you steps from the Belgian Quarter, Ehrenstraße, and the Gerling Quartier.
With over three-meter-high ceilings, large windows to the leafy courtyard, and a polished spatula-finish floor, the Loft feels open and serene. The open-plan layout includes a living area, a fully equipped designer kitchen with appliances from Stelton and Braun, and a sleeping zone with a 180 cm bed, blackout curtains, and ample storage. Design classics by Eames, Jacobsen, Wewerka, Landels, Adnet, and Kinsman add timeless character. The sleek bathroom with walk-in rain shower completes the sense of clarity and comfort.
The interior design was personally planned by Michael Kaune, founder of The Qvest Hotel. High-speed Wi-Fi, generous power outlets, and access to the shared courtyard are all included.
